It is a no leak, more flexible under typical engine conditions upon exposure to oil, resistant to oil & won't break down under high heat, low volatile, won't foul engine computer sensors, won't harm aluminum, iron, plastic or steel, no vinegar odor. It is for intake manifold end seals, oil pans, timing covers, thermostat housings, valve covers, water pumps.
